LGV 2 Drivers – Charlton

Driving Logistics are seeking Class 2 drivers to work at a market leading supermarket based in Thameside (Charlton).

This is a very desirable place to work as all their trucks and trailers are fairly new, there are flexible start and finishing times available, a work pattern that works around you.

• We are looking for flexible drivers who can cover store deliveries, their busiest days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday’s.

We have flexible start times between 04:00 – 09:00 and 20:00 – 00:00.

There is also positions available on a rolling rota, offering guaranteed shifts for drivers willing to commit to a fixed pattern. Averaging 10 hours per shift plus a 5th and 6th day can be worked if you wish.

Pay Rates – 

Mon – Sun (09:00 – 17:59) = £18.30 + Holiday pay on top

Mon – Sun (05:00 – 09:00) = £19.20 + Holiday pay on top

Mon – Sun (23:59 – 04:59) = £19.77 + Holiday pay on top

Mon – Sun (18:00 – 23:59) = £20.07 + Holiday pay on top

Overtime is paid after 42.5 hours for the week £23.51 – £25.28 +Holiday pay on top

To apply you must have the following Requirements.

• 12 months class 2 driving experience in driving HGV vehicles in the UK and London preferably.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Hold a UK driving licence, digital tachograph and CPC card.
• A flexible attitude to work.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism required.
• Well presented.
• Good time keeping.
• Willing to learn.
• A good attitude to work.
